Our story
Dr Thao Doan opened her first practice in Cleveland in 2008. In 2024 it became Oracare and moved to Thornlands, into Paradise Garden Shopping Village.
Not much about the way we work has changed since. We explain what we are looking at before we talk about treatment, we see the same faces year after year, and we stay open six days a week, weeknights until 7pm, because most people cannot take a weekday morning off.
It is a family practice in the plainest sense: Thao founded it, and her family still runs it.

Founder & Principal Dentist
Dr Thao Doan
Thao founded the practice in Cleveland in 2008 and has more than 20 years in dentistry. Her training is in cosmetic and restorative work. Complex cases and treatment planning sit with her.
General Dentist
Dr Nikolas Suominen
Nikolas joined in early 2026, at the start of his career, and trained under Thao. He works across check-ups, cleans and preventive care, and still plans his more involved cases with her.
